Sorry for the wait

Sorry, it has been forever since I have blogged. Things are busy with a 2 1/2 year old. God has been doing some amazing things in our lives recently. We have built relationships with several military families that live close to us and they have started coming to church with us. We have had a couple of good conversations with one couple but we could use your prayers. There are only 2 other Christian couples that we know at this point through the military. God needs to be proclaimed, it is a tough mission field but we are honored and excited that God choses to use us.
We have an amazing church that we love here but we have yet to build strong relationships with anyone there yet.
We are awating the birth of our little girl(Miriam Grace) in the next two weeks. We can not wait to meet her. Please pray that I can have a natural birth, I had a cesarean with Isaiah but I am trying for a natural one with Miriam, if I can. We miss everyone in Tenn. so much. We are constantly thinking of you and praying for you all. I will try not to let it be such a long time for our next update.

What a blessing.

Last night Benssy was able to take 2 guys from the base to a church worship service. Praise the Lord, I am so excited at this opportunity that the Lord has given to Benssy. Benssy has only one more month to speak into these guys hearts so please continue to pray for him. We should be heading back to New Jersey around the 16th of April. Things are going well for Isaiah and I, we are enjoying our time with family and friends.

Prayer Request

Last weekend Isaiah had the Rota Virus, he was severly dehydrated and had to be hospitalized for 3 days at Children's Hospital. He is much better now but boy that is one ulgy virus. It was extremely hard for Benssy being away from us while Isaiah was sick and it was hard not having him there. I know that God is strengtheing us through this seperation in some way but it is really hard being apart. We have one more month to go until he graduates from "C" school. Benssy is making friends but pray that he will be a light for them as most of them are filling the void in their lives with the wrong things. It is a wonderful opportunity for Benssy to share the love of our sweet Lord. Please be in prayer for him and the mission field that God has set before him and please pray that God will give me strength through this seperation. Thank you so much.

Visiting Tennesse

Sorry, it has been so long since I have blogged. We have finally gotten settled in New Jersey, we are living in military housing right outside the back gate of the base. It is really nice. We have not made many friends yet and are still in the process of finding a church. But for the next 2 months I get the joy of visiting home while Benssy has "C" school in Jacksonville, Fl. He is going to be learning about electrical work to be a support technician. I am very excited to be back home because NJ is nothing like Tenn. and I have really been struggling with missing friends and family and being lonely. But the downside is that I have to be away from of the love of my life, I miss him desperately already. Please be praying for him, it is really hard for him while we are apart. A specific prayer request would be that God would provide a Christian brother for Benssy, that they would be an encouragement for each other because military life is a constant struggle.

Our New Journey!!!

We are moving to Lakehurst, New Jersey!!! We are actually moving tommorrow. On our way up for Florida we were able to stop at home and spend Christmas with family and friends, Praise the Lord!!
For Benssy first station he has shore duty for the first two years so we will get to be a real family again :) He does leave for two months for C school in Jacksonville, Fl for electronics. But I plan on making another visit home when he does that.
Benssy was top of his class with the highest average in the whole AS school. I am so proud of him, he worked really hard and sacrificed alot of his time with us to get to that point. We hope that all of you all had a wonderful Christmas and if you ever feel up to a road trip to NJ we have a place for you to stay.

Two weeks from today!!

Two weeks from today and Benssy graduates!!! I am so proud of him, he is working so hard. It is a hard couple of weeks for Isaiah and I because we do not get to see him but for a couple of minutes every couple of days if we are lucky. We hope to find out next week where he will be stationed and if he has the opportunity to go to "C" school. I am missing my friends and family so much right now. I am trying to be strong for Isaiah and for Benssy but I feel very alone. Pray that I will feel God's presence beside of me giving me stregnth and endurance down this lonely path. I miss my church family so much, words can not express. I love you all!!!!

God's Great Strength

I feel God strengthing me and teaching me new things as I am challanged daily by this new path in our lives. I am thankful, wow that word does not do it justice, by how clearly I see and feel His sweet love. Benssy is doing so well in school, he is top of his class; yet he truly struggles with his confidence.
There is a young man that Benssy is ministering to, he joined us for church this past Sunday and came to the house for lunch afterwards. It was truly a blessing. This is our ministry for such a time as this.
We hope to find out in a couple of weeks where we will be stationed, I am anxious.
